Don't miss the 'Start Your Own Business' workshops. These 2 hour sessions will offer advice on business ownership, how to get started and what you need to know to take the leap.

  • Workshops run from 9am-11am on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August - choose the date that suits you best.
  • Topics covered include business registration, legal requirements, insurance, market research, risk management, creating a business plan and much more!

Nothing can replace meeting face-to-face with the people who can explain the ins and outs of their business. The expos simplify this process, bringing together a blend of franchisors, legal and financial advisors, and industry authorities.

Getting there

Set on the banks of the iconic Yarra River, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is just a 20 minute drive from Melbourne airport and a short stroll from the city centre.

Catch any of the following trams and get off at the stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of MCEC: Route 96 – St Kilda to East Brunswick, Route 109 – Port Melbourne to Box Hill, or Route 12 – Victoria Gardens to St Kilda. Take any train that goes to Southern Cross Station. Get off at Southern Cross Station and catch tram number 96, 109 or 12 as above. Children (16 years and under): free when accompanied by an adult, no registration required.
