Franchising Expo comes to Perth!

The Perth Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo opens for one day only on Sunday, 13 November, bringing together a range of franchises available for West Australians keen to be their own boss.

Featuring over 40 local, national and international brands, the Perth Franchising Expo is the place to meet the main players, see up-and-coming business ideas, find all the legal and financial information you need and hear from the experts at the free seminars.

“If you are thinking of getting into your own small business, there has never been a better time to attend the Franchising Expo,” says Exhibition Manager Fiona Stacey.

This popular Expo gives you a chance to learn more about working for yourself and how franchising can make it happen. Exhibition Manager Fiona Stacey says it’s a matter of finding the right people to help you on your journey – be they franchisors, lawyers, consultants, accountants or other advisors.

The Expo will showcase new, emerging and established franchise brands with investment levels from under $5,000 to more than $500,000 at Crown Perth. Exhibitors at the Expo include well-known names, including Chatime, Chicken Treat, CouriersPlease, Crust Gourmet, Donut King, Jim’s Cleaning Group, Mad Mex, Pizza Hut, Poolwerx and Rams Financial Group.

Emerging brands such as The Laundry Lady, Wheel Change U Mobile Tyre Shop, Nulook Floors, Junk Group and Urban Clean will also be on show. Global companies seeking WA franchisees include Mailboxes Etc. (Australia), Minuteman Press International, Miniso, Kumon, Hydraulink, Gloria Jean's Coffees and United Franchise Group while local franchises include Active Wellness Spa, Croissant Express, Jester’s and Little Diggers.

In addition to meeting exhibitors, visitors can attend a range of free seminars and panel sessions on the show floor that will educate, inform and motivate. Visitors will learn from experts in franchising and hear from successful franchisees, as well as strategies to help you succeed and pitfalls to avoid.

Speakers include the CEO of Mailboxes Etc., Clayton Treloar, Steve Hansen from Think Done Management Consulting, Samiul Islam from Aramex, Doug Downer from Franchise Ready, Rachel Killen from The Mr Group, Rajiv Rajan from Benchmark Business Sales and Mike Geddes from Poolwerx.

Stacey says anyone going into business for themselves needs to find out the facts. “The Franchising Expo brings everyone together under one roof. You can compare the options, eyeball the people behind the brands and ask the hard questions. It is all about doing your research and finding the right match for you.”
